Online Examination System Project Code: The language used for “Online Examination System” is Php and the database used is MySql. This software is useful for online examination. Because of this software, paper consumption will be reduced, printing question will paper will be reduced and it is user friendly. There are three different kinds of users. They are Admin, Teacher and the Student. Admin provides has the complete authority to the system. All the master details can be added or edited or deleted by the Admin. Initially the teachers and students have to register to sign into the system. Once they login, the teacher can add questions to the software to which the students have to answer by providing their Student roll number. There will be subjective and descriptive questions. Subjective are those questions to which 4 options of answers will be provided and the student has to choose any one out of it. Descriptive questions are those to which options will be not be provided but the student has to answer in less than 50 words. Once the exam is finished, all the answers will be saved in the database under the prescribed student roll number. Next is the role of teachers for correcting the papers. Subjective answers will be directly corrected by the system. If the answer is correct +1 will be added to the marks else +0 will be added. All the descriptive answers has to be corrected by teachers by reading one by one and provided the marks in the marks text box. All the subjective and descriptive marks will be added together and will be displayed as total. This procedure continues the same for all the other subject and the total marks of each subject will be calculated and will be displayed as the final marks with the percentage scored. The institution can display the result the taking a print out of all the students total marks according to the roll number.
